Abstract This paper discusses intra-vehicle wireless networks. The wireless network is used to facilitate the communications between different control units. We collected actual pathloss data from implementations in condition of four people inside with movements and studied the effects of pathloss to the success ratio by using simulations. Then we propose 3 routing methods including static routing and dynamic routing to improve the success ratio. This paper sets several situations and analyzes the success ratio, end to end delay and jitter of static routing and dynamic routing in such type of wireless network. As a result we find that dynamic routing method is mostly appropriate for intra-vehicle wireless networks among the proposed methods.
